Glaze firing, raku firing, and pit firing are techniques used to finish and transform ceramic pieces. Glaze firing creates a smooth, coloured surface,raku firing produces unique crackled effects through rapid cooling, and pit firing uses natural materials to create earthy, unpredictable finishes
